Welcome to my Blog. This is my chance to put my thoughts in order and as I do this I hope the reader can find something of value my my ramblings. I am a lifetime resident of Black Hawk County Iowa. The first 38 years in Waterloo and the last 24 in Cedar Falls.
The main purpose of this Blog was supposed to be photography. I am still available for some light photographer duties. When I retired from Deere I was able to attend many workshops and classes with some of the finest photographers in America. I find I don't shoot like any of my mentors do. I have developed my own style. It is very basic portrait photography. Ordinarily one or two lights blended with ambient light. I always work to make you look your best. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than giving somebody a photo that makes them look better then they ever thought they could.
